PetMed Express, Inc. reserves the right to cancel, expire or modify promotional offers or giveaways at any time without notice. Promotional offers are not applicable on tax, shipping or any other added fees. Coupons and promotional discounts cannot be combined with other offers or be redeemed for cash. Promotional discounts are limited to 1 use per customer while supplies last unless specified otherwise. Minimum spend amount for certain promotional offers excludes tax and shipping. Further limitations such as max savings may apply. Offers are not valid on previous purchases.

For new PetMed Express, Inc. customer promotions and giveaways, unless we expressly communicated otherwise, such promotions are available only to new users that have never had a PetMed Express, Inc. account before. It is a violation of these Terms of Use to sign up for a PetMed Express, Inc. account and seek such promotion if you created a PetMed Express, Inc. account in the past.

AutoShip Terms and Conditions

 By signing up for AutoShip & Save, you agree to accept these terms and conditions ("Terms") for our AutoShip subscription ordering program ("AutoShip"). Please note that your use of the PetMeds website or mobile app is also governed by our Terms of Use, which include an arbitration agreement, and Privacy Policy as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations and requirements on the PetMeds website, all of which (as changed over time) are incorporated into these Terms. By placing an order and enrolling in our AutoShip program, you accept these terms, conditions, limitations and requirements. The Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PetMed Express, Inc. (and, including with respect to RX products, PetMeds Pharmacy, LLC, "PetMeds") relating to our AutoShip program. Please read these Terms carefully.

Benefits

When you purchase product(s) from PetMeds and enroll in our AutoShip program, you are signing up for continuous shipments of such products and may select how often you would like your product(s) delivered to you. You may change your periodic delivery schedule at any time (including on a one-time basis), as well as your shipping address, payment method, and products included in the program by providing proper notice to us. Additionally, when you purchase certain products designated as AutoShip eligible, and enroll in the AutoShip program for such products, you will save an additional percentage on each subsequent shipment.

PetMeds reserves the right to change AutoShip benefits at any time in its sole discretion, including discount amounts and eligibility used to determine discount amounts; provided, however, PetMeds will not change the price of your next shipment once you have authorized an order as set forth in these Terms. Some of the offer details may change as you receive deliveries over time (for example, price, taxes, availability, shipping charges). Subscriptions are good while supplies last.

Notifications; Automatic Order Creation; Order Changes or Cancellation

When you place your initial order for a product and enroll in our AutoShip program, you will receive a notice that your AutoShip subscription has been created and your first order will be processed. Your first order will be processed immediately, and your selected payment method will be charged at the time the order is placed. Your AutoShip subscription will thereafter automatically create a new order according to your chosen delivery schedule, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time via Manage AutoShip , which can be found in Your Account or by calling Customer Service at 800-738-6337.

For subsequent orders of products included in AutoShip, up to 96 hours prior to shipment, you will receive a pre-shipment email notification reminding you of your upcoming shipment, the AutoShip item(s) and price(s), the period available to make changes to your order and the scheduled ship date. You can edit or cancel your order during the period beginning upon receipt of such email notification and ending 12:00 AM the day preceding your designated ship date (i.e., the day prior to your ship date). If you do not cancel the order before the day prior to your ship date, your order will be authorized, and a credit card authorization hold will be placed on the payment method used to create your subscription or updated payment method you may provide. You will see a pending charge during this time as we prepare your order. There is no need to call or update any information online when you see this pending charge.

Credit Card Authorizations and Charges

When you sign up for continuous shipments on AutoShip, you will be required to expressly agree to permit us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis, as well as the amount of the charge, which amount shall be set as described below. PetMeds will submit periodic charges (e.g. monthly) to your chosen payment method without further authorization from you, until you provide prior notice at any time that you wish to cancel or to change your payment method. Approximately 24 hours prior to your designated ship date, your order will be authorized, and a payment authorization hold will be placed on your chosen payment method. Once your order is processed, your payment method will be charged for the authorized amount. For clarification purposes only, a payment authorization hold is not an actual charge, i.e, if an authorization hold is placed for $49 on January 1 and your payment method is charged $49 on January 2 when your order is shipped, you will only see one actual charge on your payment method on January 2 for $49. An authorization hold may impact the amount of remaining credit available to you under your chosen payment method.

Pricing; Payment; Renewal; Cancellation

The amount you are ultimately charged for a product delivered pursuant to our AutoShip program will be the price of that item as stated in the pre-shipment email notification you receive.. Once your order has shipped, your chosen credit card or other payment method will be billed this amount. You will not be charged until your order ships. The total cost charged to your payment method for each AutoShip order will be the price of the item, less the AutoShip & Save discount or any other discount, if applicable, plus any applicable shipping charges and sales tax. Any credit balances on your 1800PetMeds.com customer account may be applied toward the balance of your order before charging any remaining balance to your payment method.

The charge for each AutoShip item shipment will be billed to the payment method used to create your subscription or as otherwise directed by you. If we are unable to complete your AutoShip order with the payment method you used to create your subscription, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to add another payment method in your account for your AutoShip order.

Your subscription will remain in effect until it is cancelled. You can cancel at any time via AutoShip Manager, which can be found in Your Account or by calling Customer Service at 800-738-6337.

Agreement Changes

We may, in our sole discretion, change these Terms, (including all applicable terms, conditions, limitations and requirements on the 1800petmeds.com website), without notice to you. If any change to these terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION AFTER WE CHANGE THESE TERMS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS.

Additional Terms

We may, in our sole discretion, terminate your subscriptions at any time without notice. If we do so, you will only be charged for orders that have been shipped to you. Products are only available for shipping within the forty-eight (48) contiguous US states. Your participation in the AutoShip program is personal to you, and you may not assign or transfer your Subscription or any of the benefits to any third party without our authorization. All returns under AutoShip are subject to the PetMeds’s Return Policy. AutoShip subscriptions are void where prohibited.

Membership

Offerings and pricing

PetMeds Savings Plan subscription shall include the following benefits: 

• 20-75% savings on products (at PetMeds sole discretion).
• Free shipping across all 48 contiguous states for orders exceeding $49.
• A minimum of 50% off the first autoship order.
• 20 Paw Points for ever $250 spent (4x standard Paw Points).
• Potential participation in sweepstakes, contests and other promotions.
• Additional loyalty perks and rewards with purchases (to be awarded at PetMeds sole discretion).

Cancellation

You may cancel your PetMeds Savings Plan through the manage accounts section on PetMeds.com or call our customer care team at (800) 738-6337.  There are no refunds for PetMeds Savings Plan fees paid.  If you cancel, you can continue to use PetMeds Savings Plan benefits until the end of your paid term.

Auto – Renewal

You will be charged immediately for the initial term.   Following the initial term, your PetMeds Savings Plan subscription will automatically renew, and we will charge any credit or debit card we have on file at the fee then in effect plus any applicable taxes on a reoccurring basis without further notice to you (EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT THAT NOTICE IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW) unless and until you notify PetMeds of your desire to cancel your PetMeds Savings Plan  by following the PetMeds Savings Plan cancellation process described in the paragraphs above. To avoid being charged for a new term, you must cancel your plan subscription before the end of the current term. If you cancel before the end of the term, you can continue to use PetMeds Savings Plan benefits until the end of your term.

Other Limitations

We reserve the right to accept or refuse PetMeds Savings Plan subscriptions at our discretion. You may not transfer or assign your PetMeds Savings Plan account or any PetMeds benefits. PetMeds Savings plan subscribers are not permitted to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or delivery to their customers or potential customers using PetMeds benefits. From time to time, PetMeds may choose in its sole discretion to add or remove PetMeds Savings Plan benefits.

Fees

The fees for PetMeds Savings Plan are stated in the subscription sign up process.  The plan is $99 annually for up to 5 pets per household.  Each additional pet is an added $20 annually.  From time to time, we may offer different terms and the fees for PetMeds Savings Plan may vary. The PetMeds Savings Plan fee is non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms. Sales, excise or other similar taxes may apply to the PetMeds Savings Plan fee. If all credit or debit cards, we have on file for you are declined for payment of the applicable fee, your PetMeds Savings Plan will be automatically canceled and benefits will end. You may have the ability to sign up for PetMeds Savings Plan thereafter through your account. Your new term will be based on the date that you sign up.

Terms and Conditions Changes

We may at our discretion change these PetMeds Savings Plan terms or benefits or any aspect of PetMeds Savings Plan that is not material, without notice or liability to you. If any change to these Terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. Your continued enrollment after we change these terms constitutes your acceptance of these changes. If you do not agree to any changes, you must cancel your membership.

Termination by Us

We may terminate your subscription or participation in PetMeds Savings Plan at our discretion without notice or liability to you. If we do so, we will give you a full refund for any term that has not yet expired. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to conduct that we determine, at our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the subscription or participation in PetMeds Savings Plan subscription or is harmful to our interests or another user.

Purchase Limitations

PetMeds Savings Plan-priced quantity limits apply to all members. For each pet enrolled, you may purchase a 12-month supply of each PetMeds product at PetMeds savings plan price each year.

A special note: Please understand that these limitations were designed so they would not affect legitimate PetMeds Savings plan subscribers, but would thwart any unscrupulous members from gaming our membership program.

Product and Services Information

The PetMeds Savings Plan covers certain medications that are required by law to be prescribed by a licensed veterinarian, in addition to products that do not require prescriptions. PetMeds cannot provide a prescription medication through the PetMeds Savings Plan without a valid prescription from your pet’s veterinarian.
